Hosted by the Northwest Environmental Business Council (NEBC) for the 8th year in a row, the Managing Stormwater in Washington conference has become the Northwest’s leading stormwater event, bringing together regulated companies, governments, solution providers, and regulators to provide an exceptional forum for learning, networking, and business development.

KJ, heavily involved in the stormwater arena in the Pacific Northwest, is title sponsor of the conference this year. We also featured three presentations at the event to share our experiences in stormwater treatment and regulations. If you missed this year’s conference or our presentations, we have made them available here.

Stormwater OR 2015

KJ is also a title sponsor of a NEW conference this year, also hosted by NEBC – Managing Stormwater in Oregon! This year’s event is scheduled for May 21, 2015 at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel. If you plan to attend, please stop by our booth. We will have a special gift just for our blog subscribers.

BONUS! – Oregon Stormwater and Source Control Conference

Enviro Law Education Center

Nathan Graves presented on the “Latest Developments on Treatment” at the Environmental Law Education Center’s Oregon Stormwater and Source Control Conference on March 17, 2015 at the World Trade Center in Portland. Holly Duncan, Executive Director, included Nathan on her self-proclaimed “Dream Team” of stormwater experts that participated in a panel discussion at the end of the conference. Nathan’s presentation focused on the recently completed AKART Manual mentioned above that was developed by KJ for the Washington Public Ports Association, how it is relevant to other states, and how it can serve as a model road map for compliance with industrial stormwater permits for many types of industries. He also presented several case studies of stormwater solutions that KJ has developed to address corrective action requirements for clients, from aggressive source control and catch basin inserts to complex, multi-stage treatment systems designed for changing land use.
