Recycled Water

RECYCLED WATER SERVICES
A Proud History

Kennedy/Jenks Consultants has been committed to water recycling in California since wastewater was first recognized as a valuable renewable resource. We have successfully completed more than 50 recycled-water-related projects.

Our services have included all aspects of facilities planning, predesign, final design, and construction support. During the past five years alone, our proposed team has participated in the planning of several of California’s largest recycled water projects, pilot tested a variety of emerging membrane treatment and disinfection technologies, and designed more than 500,000 linear feet of pipelines and dozens of pump stations, treatment and storage facilities.

Many of Kennedy/Jenks’ recycled water projects have received awards from the American Academy of Environmental Engineers (AAEE), the Consulting Engineers and Land Surveyors of California (CELSOC), and others.

We keep moving forward, using new technologies and expanding our consulting services and locations, all the while remaining committed to our clients’ immediate needs and long-term goals. Water recycling is the solution to many future water issues in our country, and we are pleased to offer consultation services that help deliver this solution. Our services include:

The Trefethen Vineyards in Napa Valley has used aerobic pond treatment to treat winery wastewater since the mid-1970s. While the winery has twice modified the treatment system for additional capacity, it has retained the aerobic ponds. All of the winery's wastewater is recycled with aerobic pond treatment and reused in the vineyards.
