Stephen (Steve) Timko specializes in water quality and reuse research. He received his PhD from the University of California, Irvine, where he studied the breakdown of contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) in constructed treatment wetlands. Steve is a water quality specialist in the Applied Research Group at Kennedy Jenks and focuses on the treatment of groundwater contaminants such as iron, manganese, PFAS, VOCs, and arsenic. His project experience additionally spans potable reuse, water and wastewater treatment, and stormwater treatment and conveyance.
