Ed Balchon is the Director for Strategic Plan Implementation with Kennedy Jenks, working alongside experts and leaders in the firm to grow the firm’s water business nationally, and with a focus in the Southeastern US from Virginia to Florida and west to Texas.
Ed is well known throughout the Southeast and most notably in Florida in the water-wastewater industry. As an extremely talented client manager and team builder, Ed earned this reputation by successfully building engineering practices throughout his career.
Ed has more than 35 years of experience in planning, design and construction of water treatment facilities and distribution systems, as well as sludge management, wastewater collection and wastewater treatment facilities. He has managed several large water and wastewater treatment plant efforts with electrical and instrumentation components. Ed is also knowledgeable with permitting requirements, local construction methodologies and resource issues and concerns related to water quality.
