Ms. Jamie Kolkey has been appointed as Kennedy Jenks’ Operations Manager for Northern California for the Water Business Unit.  In her new role she will be responsible for operations and leadership of five offices in the firm’s water sector:  Sacramento, Walnut Creek, San Francisco, Santa Clara and Santa Rosa.

Ms. Kolkey, 33, joined Kennedy Jenks in 2016 as a project engineer in Pasadena, eventually moving to Sacramento to manage vital engineering design and construction projects across Northern California.  These projects ranged from potable water, wastewater, recycled water, groundwater wells, hydraulic analyses and master planning.

In 2019, Ms. Kolkey was appointed Principal and Operations Manager in California’s Central Valley for the firm’s Water Business Unit where she managed an office of 30 professionals.  During the current COVID-19 crisis, her leadership skills have been instrumental in achieving effective communication, project management success and employee morale.

Said CEO/President Keith London, ‘Jamie’s tenure at Kennedy Jenks is marked by a unique ability to successfully tackle both complicated engineering issues as well as organizational challenges.  Through her intelligence, vision and diplomacy, she has taken projects and teams to exceptional new heights.’

Added London: ‘Jamie’s ascension to our Board of Directors reflected her superb critical thinking and ability to resolve complex issues at the highest levels.  In her newest role, Jamie will continue to offer inspired leadership to colleagues and clients.’

A graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, Ms. Kolkey received her BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in the state of California.  She is a member of the UCLA Engineering School Alumni Association and actively mentors several student groups annually.

Kennedy Jenks professionals design and engineer major water, utility and environmental projects across the U.S. in partnership with public entities and private companies.
