Katterinne Fleming joins Kennedy Jenks as Principal Asset Management Consultant

Fleming brings depth of national and international asset management experience with municipal water and wastewater agencies.

 

Kennedy Jenks (KJ) announced that Katterinne (Katty) Fleming, ENV SP, IAM Cert. recently joined the company as a Principal Asset Management Consultant. Fleming specializes in guiding municipal agencies of all sizes through the decision-making process, from long-term capital improvement planning to urgent regulatory compliance projects.

Fleming’s diverse technical experience focuses on optimization program evaluations, condition and risk assessments, key performance indicators development, and other dynamic tools in the water and wastewater sector. She began her career in Virginia, where she worked both as a consultant and for public municipalities for more than ten years, always with a keen eye focused on asset inventories, management, and facility plans.

She then spent seven years in California where she worked on progressively complex asset management projects across Southern California, Arizona, Oregon, and Mexico.

Fleming holds an MS in Civil, Environmental, and Infrastructure Engineering and a BS in Civil Engineering, both from George Mason University. Her extensive licenses and certifications include Asset Management Certificate (IAM), Certified Project Manager (CPM), Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP), and more. Fleming is an active mentor to engineering students, inspiring the next generation of future-focused water professionals. She is a board member of the IAM Women in Asset Management, an active member of the Institute of Asset Management leading the Southern California branch, the Association of Women in Water, Energy & Environment, the Water Environment Federation, American Water Works Association, and Engineers Without Borders.
