Kennedy Jenks (KJ) is proud to announce the appointment of Christine Battaglia as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, Christine will oversee the firm’s financial strategy and operations, supporting disciplined growth, operational resilience, and long-term value creation.
Christine brings more than 22 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, with a career rooted in financial leadership and operational excellence. She spent the past 13 years at a national employee-owned architecture and infrastructure design firm, most recently serving as Finance Director for its Northwest Division. In that role, she focused on financial strategy and profitable growth while leading high-performing finance teams.
Throughout her career, Christine has earned a reputation as a collaborative leader who partners closely with operational teams to support informed decision-making and sustainable business performance. Her experience spans financial planning, forecasting, and organizational leadership with a consistent focus on aligning financial strategy with company goals.
A champion of employee ownership, Christine has supported educational initiatives to help staff and employee-owners better understand the business aspects of engineering and the direct link between their work and the company’s growth.

Christine holds a Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Western Illinois University.
