Seasoned Leaders Bring Key Industrial Wastewater Talents to Kennedy Jenks Consultants

 

San Francisco, CA:  Two prominent industry experts have joined Kennedy Jenks to provide leadership in key growth markets and to enhance the firm’s relationships with industrial and manufacturing clients.

Michael Juszynski, Senior Engineer

With almost three decades at Georgia Pacific, Mr. Juszynski’s career includes 14 years of manufacturing facility wastewater operations and environmental compliance coupled with over a decade of corporate environmental leadership for Georgia-Pacific’s manufacturing facilities on the East Coast.

Mr. Juszynski is an expert in water, wastewater, storm water and SPCC compliance.  He managed operational support, upgrades, studies, audits and regulatory issues, including permit renewals/applications, emerging regulations and Environmental Management System implementation at several Georgia-Pacific facilities.

He also worked with Georgia-Pacific facilities to review capital projects for permitting implications and provided compliance self-audits and environmental risk assessments.  As Georgia-Pacific’s Senior Environmental Consultant, Mr. Juszynski identified high risk areas and implemented solutions to close gaps and provide sustainable, long-term results.

A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Juszynski will manage the scope of his new responsibilities from the Princeton, New Jersey office.

 

Jason Maglalang-Weakley, Senior Engineer

With over two decades of leadership as a process engineer with industrial clients in the Pacific Northwest, Mr. Maglalang-Weakley is a results-oriented leader in the areas of facility expansion, wastewater treatment project design, studies, operations and optimizations.  His clients have included Boeing, premiere food & beverage manufacturers, and mining clients.

Mr. Maglalang-Weakley’s strengths include industrial wastewater treatment plant feasibility studies, operations and optimizations, detailed design, project management and bench scale/pilot plant testing of wastewater treatment technologies.

Safety plays a critical role in project leadership; Mr. Maglalang-Weakley has served on emergency response teams and as a lead medic.

Mr. Maglalang-Weakley received his undergraduate and Master of Science degrees from Oregon State University.  He is professionally licensed in the states of Alaska, California, Montana and Washington.  He will provide leadership in his new role from the Federal Way, Washington office.
