Doug Sawyers Appointed as Mid‐Atlantic Client Director for Kennedy Jenks Consultants, Inc.
Brings Reputation for Providing Outstanding Technical Expertise to Clients

Kennedy Jenks is delighted to welcome Doug Sawyers in a new position incorporating Mr. Sawyers’ experience leading teams and providing outstanding engineering and environmental client service. Mr. Sawyers’ new role will focus on the firm’s clientele on the East Coast and Mid‐Atlantic region.

Mr. Sawyers brings a unique perspective on a wide range of environmental consulting services to public, private and federal clients developed through three decades of experience.

His portfolio includes municipal wastewater facilities planning, water treatment, design and construction, solid waste, waste‐to‐energy and is strengthened through his experience in project delivery and business operations for previous employers Malcolm Pirnie and Arcadis.

A natural team builder and seasoned client partner, Mr. Sawyers’ leadership has contributed to numerous project successes in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, among others nationwide.

A graduate of the University of Delaware (BS and MS in Civil Engineering), Mr. Sawyers is licensed in several states and is a Board Certified Environmental Engineer of the American Society of Environmental Engineers.

Mr. Sawyers will manage his scope and responsibilities from the Kennedy Jenks Washington, D.C. regional office.

With over a century of experience, Kennedy Jenks professionals design, engineer and manage construction of major water, wastewater, utility and environmental projects across the U.S. in partnership with public entities and private companies.
