KJ’s Dawn Taffler to participate in the 5th Annual Women in Water Symposium

Dawn Taffler will be speaking on a Diversity and Inclusion Panel at the 5th Annual Women in Water Symposium on April 6 from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM Pacific.  

The event, hosted by Cuyamaca College, is centered on professionals and women interested in the Water industry.

Dawn Taffler, One Water Practice Leader, Kennedy Jenks Consultants 

Dawn Taffler serves as the One Water Practice Leader at Kennedy Jenks Consultants; bringing over 22 years of experience for a wide-range of multidisciplinary projects balancing engineering expertise with conceptual level planning and design to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to complex multi-agency projects. She enjoys working in the grey area beyond engineering; serving as a liaison between the technical and environmental teams and facilitating public understanding of complex topics. 

Dawn serves on Kennedy Jenks’ Diversity and Inclusion Committee and as an advisor for Women@KJ, a grassroots group whose focus is to Advocate, Elevate and Advance women at Kennedy Jenks. She has served as a Board Member at Large for WateReuse California since 2017 and was the architect behind the thought provoking Women in WateReuse Plenary Event in 2019. 

Dawn is a registered professional civil engineer in California, with a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from University of Illinois and an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from University of California Berkeley and is LEED accredited.
