Kennedy Jenks Welcomes Lindsey Hughes as Food and Beverage Market Leader

Kennedy Jenks welcomes Lindsey Hughes as Food and Beverage Market Sector Lead, bringing more than 20 years of experience driving environmental, health, safety, and compliance programs across the food and beverage, manufacturing, logistics, and industrial sectors.

Kennedy Jenks is proud to announce that Lindsey Hughes has joined the firm as Food and Beverage Market Sector Lead, bringing more than 20 years of experience in environmental, health, safety, and environmental compliance leadership across food and beverage, manufacturing, logistics, and industrial sectors.

Throughout her career, Lindsey has led environmental compliance programs and developed enterprise-wide management systems across complex manufacturing, logistics, transportation, and e-commerce operations. Most recently, she directed environmental strategy and compliance across six major business units, overseeing environmental programs supporting more than 1,000 facilities nationwide. Her experience includes leading large-scale stormwater, wastewater, waste, and air compliance programs, managing multimillion-dollar environmental budgets, and driving operational improvements that reduce risk while supporting business growth.

She also served as a Corporate Responsible Official with signatory authority for environmental permits and regulatory reporting across multiple business units, overseeing complex environmental compliance programs at a national scale. In addition, she served as a field subject matter expert for stormwater and wastewater compliance, leading the development of standardized compliance protocols and performance metrics across a nationwide network of facilities.

Her experience spans industrial water management, environmental permitting, stormwater and wastewater compliance, hazardous waste programs, and environmental stewardship initiatives across diverse operations and facilities.

In her new role, Lindsey will lead the growth of Kennedy Jenks' Food and Beverage practice, working closely with clients and project teams to strengthen relationships, support business development, and expand the firm's environmental and industrial water services. She will help deliver innovative solutions that address the industry's evolving operational, regulatory, and sustainability challenges.

Lindsey brings a thoughtful, practical approach to solving complex challenges and a track record of building programs that deliver lasting results. Her leadership style and deep industry experience will be a tremendous asset to our clients and our team.

Lindsey holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Technology from Vrije Universiteit Brussels and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Bellarmine University. Her academic background and professional certifications, including Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), and Kentucky Class II Wastewater Operator certifications, reflect a career dedicated to environmental leadership, regulatory compliance, industrial water management, and operational excellence.
